After I pulled the kids around town behind the car, having a dog chase them and Ashton losing a shoe two hours later we realized that when the power is out you cannot pump gas ;) and you can also not drive anywhere to get gas when you have no gas so that ended our snow day.
One day Brian took the boys ice fishing. I think that they had lots of fun, they take food and BBQ right on the lake and they have tents with warmers in them so they stay pretty warm.

Ashton also finished up basketball season, they do no keep score yet but they did really well and it is fun to watch them learn and have fun!
Even Bam and Chaetton had fun at the games.
To finish catching up the other day it got warm like 50 degree's warm so the boys decided to go out and have a paintball fight which was very entertaining to watch. They both got "kill" shots to the head lets hope the winter weather is over and spring is on its way!
Chaetton didn't want to participate in the paintball fun so he just played in the snow and in the road I am such a good mother.
So now I am caught up hope you enjoyed the super long post, look forward to pictures from my relay race and we have a camping trip planned in a couple weeks, but until then Hope the warm weather finds you all!
i want to go sledding so bad. next year we will come down and go, or you can all come up here!! is it just me or are all of those kids in the basketball picture really tall?? maybe its just me. and the many faces of bam. that kid is a nut, he makes me laugh. and yes another mother of the year award goes to you. i just want to know what mom doesnt let their kid play in the road. i know i am going to teach deegan too!

I love the faces Bam comes up with in his pictures! My favorite picture on this post is Chaetton all bundled up in his snow gear. Reminds me of the kid on The Christmas Story where he can't put his arms down to his sides because he is so bundled up. So funny! I love it! Sounds like Ashton had another great basketball season. I wouldn't expect any thing less coming from Ashton the athlete. Can't wait to see you guys! I told Ben we should all run a 4 miler when we get to Yellowstone. You know that we all are running! :) I am digging this song you are playing on your blog!!
