Finally Camping

So we finally got our first camping trip in of the season. If you guys have never been to the San Rafeal Swell you better get going there before the government turns it into a national park, it is so AWESOME. So for this trip we took my niece Teggan along with us which was way fun cause then I wasn't the only girl and she entertained the kids as well.. So on the way out there me and Teggan rode in the jeep and if you guys have ever seen the movie The Hills Have Eyes I am pretty sure that this is where they filmed it. So me and Teggan talked about that movie the whole time we were out there trying to scare ourselves and it worked! Brian took the older kids on a ride and left me and Teggan and the camp around dark and we are talking about the movie, and all of a sudden this car pulls into our camp site. Talk about having to change your underwear! They left without killing and eating us so that was good.
The first day we were there the kids caught lizards, ok i take that back Teggan caught the lizards while my kids screamed like girls. They rode the four wheelers and did lots of climbing looking for special rocks but instead found petrified poop which was cool the kids also enjoyed the dirt and snacks. I heard once that the dirtier the kid the funnier they had well from the looks of them they had a blast.
As you can see Chaetton also got his helmet off the day before we went and WOW do we miss it! I don't know how many times you can hit your head on the trailer awning but i could guess... it was about three times... in one day. Poor Chaetton and his unprotected head.
So after several short rides on the fourwheelers that took us to see these places

We decided to take a long jeep ride to another arch and a bunch of copper mines, I don't know how the miners found these place cause they were a long way from now where but it was so much fun we saw wild horses on the way out there so that was way cool. this was the arch that we went and saw So here are some of the mines that we saw and yes I let my kids go in and yes it was way SCARY! This is the last mine that we went into and talk about the hills have eyes it was creepy there was all these different tunnels leading off to who knows where some had been collapsed which was freaky and there was this scary door that said do not enter so of course we do. nothing was behind it.

Any one up for some hide and seek in the mines?
So after an extremely long post and a million pictures I hope that I have convinced you to go out there, but if not then you can read my next post because we are going back out there next week!

This Might Be A Long One

So I have been way behind in my blogging so I am going to try to catch up on a few things so it may be a long post.
So Chaetton has a flat spot on the back side of his head and since he is probably not going to have long hair in the back to cover it up with thought that we should probably fix it so he got one of these I know that it is not the cutest thing in the world and he has to wear it for about 3 months 23 hours a day 7 days a week, but it does have its pros! like for instance when you are holding him and you accidentally hit his head on the corners of walls and stuff it doesn't make a mark. It hasn't bothered him at all and we are just preparing him to play a little football. So far I can see a big change in his head and hope that it comes off soon but if not o well we still think that he looks really awesome in it. Ashton and Bam also like to wear their helmets every now and then they look pretty awesome as well
So this guy here turned the big 32 on April 3. I hope that he had a good birthday even though he wasn't feeling good I think that he was saying he didn't feel good because he is so old! Just Kidding! Brian is a great dad and husband he is always good coaching the boys teams and playing with them, he works hard for our family and even though we don'y say it often we appreciate everything he does! Hope you had a Happy Birthday! We think you look pretty good for being 32!
Easter! Well like everyone else we were supposed to go camping for easter but the snow ruined that idea, so we decided to head down to Mesquite with my parents and stay in their trailer with them. It was nice to be down there where it was actually sunny. On Friday the bigger boys went on a four-wheeler drive and me my mom and Chaetton rode around mesquite, we wanted to go gamble but i didn't know how that would look with my 10 month old kid sitting in his car seat by the slot machines so of course we went to WALMART! The boys went to a place called something Butte. they had a great time and saw lots of cool things.

They saw this big sinkhole called the devils throat and by the looks of the looks of the pictures probably does take you to the depths of hell. They also saw Bill Garrets grave he was the brother of Pat Garret who shot Billy the Kid or something. They had a great time. Later that night we took Ashton and Bam to the Arcade and Ashton pretty much tore it up, then Bam had a run in with dog poop, and of course we went swimming. Then we came home and colored eggs.

Ashton is very careful at coloring his eggs, Bam was done in about 5 minutes and Chaetton could have cared less about it. The kids got new swimming suits for easter so hopefully summer is on its way.
Brian and I have been keeping busy with work and kids Brian is about to start coaching the boys in baseball. Ashton and Bam have been busy with school and of course playing. Chaetton started walking in march so that has been fun, he can now go outside without scratching his knees. So there is my long post I am now caught up and will try to stay caught up so to not have one of these long posts again. Thanks for Reading!

The boys have done it again

So Ashton just finished up yet another sport for the year. THey just finished basketball and even though they don't keep score officially the boys keep it and according to them they were undefeated! (with Brian as their coach of course.)
Ashton played really well this year as did the rest of the team. We are really excited about these kids to be playing because they are all from Spring City which means they can have their own team, and they are all really good which means they can finally have a Spring City team that wins! We just hope that they can all continue to play together. Here are just a few pictures that I took enjoy!

Bam also loved to go watch the games most of the time you could find him down sitting by the boys on the bench, and the boys are so good with him, i mean really who doesn't love Bam.
So good job Ashton! We love coming to watch you play! Next sport Baseball which Bam will be starting this year. Oh Boy here we come, hopefully the weather will be better than it was last year.

Christmas and the Wii Wee

So going back to Christmas (better late than never) We had another awesome christmas i think that we all got everything we wanted and more (except maybe brian he is so hard to buy for even Santa has a hard time he should make a list and send it to Santa.)
Ashton got a HUGE star wars ship that has lights and sounds from grandpa and grandpa Osborne he loves it! He says if he could hide it from Bam he would but it is to big to hide. He also got a BYU jersey and helmet with his name on the back along with bionicles and legos.
Bam also got a jersey and helmet with his name on the back but his is a utah utes, oh the rivalry at our house. He got spongebob legos and other toys. Ashton and Bam also got a nintendo DS to share which they love.
Chaetton did not get world peace like he asked for but he did get lots of clothes which made mom happy, he also got a little table that he can stand up and play with and also a bike that he can walk with which he loves to do, he is all over the place with that thing.

My parents gave all of their kids a new Wii for christmas which was so awesome! They let us all open them up at the same time everybody was screaming it was so loud I don't know who was more excited my kids or my sister Teddi Sue. So anyway a couple of days after Christmas they boys went ice fishing and me, my two sisters Sheena, and Teddi Sue, my mom and Ashton were playing Wii bowling. I am not giving names those of us that were there know the whole story, but it was one of our turns to bowl and slipped and almost did the splits which also hurt that persons toe, (there was also a lot of cursing going on at that time as well.) The rest of us were laughing so hard that another one of us peed there pants, not just a little bit (a puddle) so much that we actually had to get the carpet cleaner out and clean the chair that they were sitting in, shortly after that the made up songs started up. "The rains came down and the floods came up" has a whole different meaning now. Anyway we have had so much fun with the wii and I am sure that that will not be that last time one of us pees their pants while playing the Wee i mean Wii.

Lost tooth, Crawling Away, Snow Fun, and SANTA

So when Ashton was a baby he had most of his teeth by the time he was one or close to it, now that he is 9 he has only lost 4 teeth. I know i know that the dentist says that it is better to keep your baby teeth for as long as you can but seriously Bam will start losing teeth before he does. Anyway so the other night his front tooth was very lose and he was throwing a fit cause he couldn't sleep so me and Brian offered to pull it out and he would have nothing to do with it. So after a VERY long night he went to school the next morning and while he was at school it CAME OUT! His teacher gave him a little treasure box to keep it in and then he put it under the pillow, later that night the tooth fairy came and gave him two bucks but she also forgot to take the tooth, O well the money was good!
Chaetton has started crawling a little after Thanksgiving except he didn't go forward he went backward, (Now he is going forward) It was so funny to watch him he was like a truck driver backing his trailer up. He would look back at where he was going and start going backwards, then he would stop sit up look around turn himself if he needed to and then start going again. One day I left him in the kitchen and was doing a few things and went back to check on him and couldn't find him. I could hear him so when I went into the other room this is what I found He was so ticked the bar on the chair was blocking him from going anywhere and he could sit up to change directions, lets just say that he most likely has the Osborne temper. Chaetton also thinks he is so big that one day I left him in his crib and came in and found him like this.
One day it had snowed and snowed and snowed, Bam decided that he wanted to go out and play so he talked me into going out. It was FREEZING the wind was blowing. Bam wanted me to help him make a snowman so we tried to roll the snow into a ball but that didn't work so I just started to put snow in a pile and make it work. This is the army snowman and BAM. A couple more pictures of BAM in the snow he made me bury him. We had a great time even though it was sooo cold.
Who Can forget about SANTA PICTURES! Ashton asked for a Nintendo DS. BAM asked for a basketball hoop And I am pretty sure Chaetton asked for World Peace and some new shirts.(Right Brian)
So anyway after an extremely long post. Hope you all have an Awesome Christmas! and A Happy New Year!
