Ashton's Football Brian's Trip and Thnksgiving

Ashton finished up another year of football. They did it a little different this year, they had 4th grade up 13 year olds on the same team this year, which made it really good if you got all the older kids and really bad if you got the younger kids, well we got most of the younger kids but they did really good they only lost one game during the regular season and then they took fourth in the championship so they didn't do to bad. We can not wait for tackle football next year. Ashton and his teamAshton running with the ballAshton his friend Ky and Brian he was the coach again this yearBam upside down at one of the games it sure was good to have lots of family and friends there to play with.
Chaetton chilling in the stroller on a semi warm day he was usually bundled up so tight you couldn't see him.
Right before Thanksgiving Brian took a trip to go see the Utes play Notre Dame, and then he went to see the Colts game (not sure who they played) He said that they had a great time even though both teams lost and it was rainy for the Utes game.
Touchdown Jesus
Brain and his friend Wes on Notre Dame Campus

Some pictures of the churches at Notre Dame. He said that it was really cool to see and the churches were awesome! Now for the Colts Game A few pictures of the stadium No pictures of the cheerleaders they are probably on another camera
Brian Bought Ashton a Austin Collie Jersey and Bam a Addai Jersey they love them! We are glad that he got a chance to go and that he had a good time. We spent Thanksgiving here in Spring City with Brian's family we had a good time and of course good food. Of course I got no pictures cause I am the best mom ever. HaLlOwEenN 2010 Continued

This year for Halloween the Boys had a hard time deciding what they wanted to be. Ashton always wants to be something scary so I thought that he would be Michael Myers, or Jason, but he surprised me and wanted to be a BYU foot ball player. But before he was that they had a Halloween carnival at school and he was to cool to dress up so we just colored his hair white.Ashton and his friends were all something to do with BYU, but since I am mother of the year (and it was hailing) I did not get a picture of them sadly neither did anyone else. Bam had a even harder time deciding, he usually doesn't like scary stuff but for the Halloween carnival he ended up being this. Then we went down to manti to do some trick or treating and he was a star wars clone trooper (again I did not get a picture) so then we got back and he decided to be a utah utes football player which the helmet came in handy when it hailed.Chaetton did not have a choice of what he was being this year so he ended up being a girl, he sure was cute! Everyone kept saying that they did not know that I had a girl, but i did for one night out of the year! Hope that this does not come back to bite me in the butt one day!We got lots of candy and had a great Halloween! Hope you all did as well!

Halloween 2010

Halloween started out with of course carving pumpkins. Ashton and Bam got huge pumpkins from the pumpkin patch and Ashton was so excited cause he thought that we would get tons of pumpkin seeds, but really there wasn't any more than usual and the bigger pumpkins were easier to clean then the little one. Weird. A few before shots before the boys dug in.

Chaetton and Ashton dug right in they cleaned their pumpkins out really good. Bam on the other hand would not even touch it. He heard the word guts and was not even going there... So much for him becoming a doctor of some sort.

Brian even decided to step up and help carve this year. and Ashton started to think that maybe he wanted to be the headless horseman, but after carrying the pumpkin around decided it wouldn't be the funnest thing ever. The finished project. Chaetton's is a smiley face cause that was the last and easiest thing that I could carve, plus he is so Happy.Bam's is a bat with it's wings spread out super SCARY!Ashton's is a werewolf with lots of small details thank goodness for the pumpkin carving tools and of course Brian's help

Maple Canyon, Pumpkin Patch, And The Haunted House

Since Brian was working on UEA and we couldn't go anywhere my mom, niece Teggan and my kids decided to go for a hike so that I could also try to get some pictures of my kids (I will now leave that to the professionals.) We headed out to maple canyon, somewhere i have been wanting to go for a long time. I haven't been to Maple Canyon in a very long time so we weren't sure where the starting of the hike that I wanted to go but eventually we found it and so did everybody else. I also had forgotten about the couple of hard spots as well but we all got over it with only a little bit of tears. It was lots of fun we saw quite a few dead things that I think fell out of birds nests but we did see one little live snake that I think after playing with it to much eventually died. Here are a few semi good shots that i got but like I said we will find a professional to take pictures next time.
This is my niece Teggan is she the cutest thing ever! So sometimes I wish that I looked like her then reality hits when I look in the mirror. I guess I will have to deal with it cause plastic surgery is too much.
Chaetton was a monster! but I guess that is how they are when they are one.
NO I did not tell Ashton to get in this pose he was just goofing off but it turned out to be cute, weird but cute.
Bam cheesing a way. He tried really hard to take pictures if only his eyes would stay open.
The boys looking their best.
After many failed attempts everyone started to look like thiswe decided it was time to go to the pumpkin patch. A girl that I work with has a pumpkin patch that you go and ride to the patch on a tractor pick you pumpkin out ride back while eating a doughnut and apple juice so we decided to go on out. Bam got to choose the tractor we got to be pulled with it was red for Utah Utes of course. The kids in the pumpkin patch. Ashton and Bam picked the biggest pumpkins I could hardly get them back to the tractor.

It turned out to be a really fun day long but fun! We haven't carved the pumpkins yet, but we will before Halloween I just hope that we can find a pan big enough to cook the seeds cause I am sure by how big those pumpkins are there is going to be alot. As the above pictures shows some of us at work don't get out alot, so we decided to go to a haunted house. We first went to eat a the Texas Road House. YUM! We told them that it was Angie's birthday since it really is on Halloween. They made her get on a saddle with a spotlight on her. She was celebrating her 26th birthday again! Doesn't she look good. After losing two of our co-workers (they were too scared to go to the haunted house) we headed over to the Haunted Forest. Even though we did not see Michael Myers (He is so scary) we had a great time. I would like to tell Ashley thanks for being so brave and letting me hang onto her. (she knows what I mean) Also for Annalisa for closing her eyes the whole entire time it really gave us some experience leading blind people that we may need to use at work, and thanks to Angie for leaving me so the guy with the chainsaw could cut my legs off I really don't need them anyway.
We had a great time, and got the crap scared out of us! Can you guess which ones if any peed our pants? Only those that were there know the answer and since we are so good at following HIPPA we will never tell.

First Day Of School and Ashton's Birthday

Was anyone else sad about the first day of school as I was this year? Usually I am so excited for school to start but I was really sad! I felt like we still had fun stuff left to do, and that the summer went by way to fast, oh well it came and my kids were super excited especially Bam he started kindergarten this year, and Ashton is in the 4th grade ( I know I am so old) The first day we always walk to school with some friends this year was the same.
Bam did not start school the same day as Ashton did but he still had to wear his new school clothes.Ashton and his new school clothes. Both ready for school.

They both love school still which is a good sign. Ashton says that this is the best year yet, and Bam just likes to go so that he can play with his friends. But what the hay as long as he likes to go. The boys ride their bikes to school everyday with friends, and they love it, it also makes it easier on me as well.
Ashton's birthday was Saturday Oct. 2 I can not believe that he is 10 wow where did the time go by? We had a birthday party with family on Saturday and he and some friends are going to go swimming on monday for his friend party. Ashton is a huge BYU fan so of course that is what kind of party he wanted so i made a cake. i was going to make it out of fondant but after trying for hours I gave up and just used plain frosting. I am thinking about going into cake decorating business so if any one wants cakes made I can do it but it has to involve simple shapes and one letter. Ashton said that it was the best looking cake he has ever had so I guess that is all that matters.
Ashton is such a good kid he always helps out even when he hasn't been asked. He is such a good brother to Bam and Chaetton. Ashton is very smart and always does well in school. He is a very good athlete something I am sure he got from me. We love Ashton very much and are so glad that he is in our family. a few pics of Ashton growing up.
